Tenta Aluminumy anodizing process, how much do you know?

Times:2021.05.11 Author: Tianda Aluminum

Over the years, we have been providing high-quality color anodizing services, which are well received by consumers. After anodizing the metal surface, it has beautiful appearance, durability and high appreciation value, and is widely used in various industries. Welcome new and old customers to contact us.

In the electrodeposition process, the anode process and the cathode process are both unified and contradictory processes. In the electrodeposition process, the cathode process is the process of obtaining products, so it is the main process. The anode process is regarded as an auxiliary process subordinate to the cathode process.

One of the functions of the anode is to conduct electricity, which is an inseparable process from the cathode process. Without the electric field formed by the anode and cathode, there can be no cathode process. Therefore, conduction is the primary and necessary function of the anode. This is a function that any anode must have.

Another function of the anode is to provide ions that want to be gold-plated. But this is not a necessary function. This means that the anode can also not provide the metal ions required for the cathode process. Like insoluble anodes.

However, no matter what kind of anode, it will affect the stability of the electrolyte and the quality of the coating, so it can not only pay attention to the cathode process and ignore the anode process. -- titanium alloy anodic treatment process

Of course, the ideal anode process, in which the metal can be successfully electrochemically dissolved into the electrolyte, has been studied in detail in electrode process dynamics. It is based on these studies that it is possible to select the appropriate anode material, current density, and certain anode active agents in process practice for the normal dissolution of the anode during electrodeposition. However, even in the traditional plating process, it is not always possible to choose the ideal anode, and other methods have to be used to make up for it. For example, chromium plating uses an insoluble anode and relies entirely on adding chromic acid to the plating solution to supplement metal ions. This is because some anode processes can not meet the needs of the cathode process, when the normal progress of the cathode process as a prerequisite, the anode can not always adapt to the cathode process, not the current density can not reach the normal degree of dissolution, that is, the dissolution is not according to the required valence state to provide metal ions, or dissolution too fast and greatly exceed the needs of the cathode process. In this way, when the anode process affects the normal operation of the cathode process, measures must be taken to adjust the anode process so that the entire electrodeposition process can be carried out normally.

It is an anode that can be dissolved and consumed in the working fluid during electrodeposition. Anodes used in most complex working fluids or in simple salt solutions where the anode process can be coordinated with the cathode process are mostly soluble anodes. For example, all cyanide baths, nickel plating, tin plating, etc., are made of soluble anodes. Moreover, for soluble anodes, what metal needs to be plated, what metal should be used as the anode, and it must not be worn. There have been cases where the metal impurities in the plating solution rose abnormally due to the wrong anode, resulting in the plating solution being scrapped.
